Welcome to the Gostišču ob Ribniku - a special place where tradition, comfort and taste are intertwined. Our story goes back to 1994, when we started building the glass hall that has become the true heart of our guest house. Almost at the same time, we built a comfortable guest house, which today proudly accommodates up to 45 guests per night.
Our prime location, just a step away from the motorway, puts us in the spotlight for transit travellers looking for refreshments on the go. But our guest house is not just a stopover on the way – our lake and magical surroundings are perfect for a peaceful family holiday for those coming from afar, as well as for local guests.
Open all year round, it offers a wealth of culinary delights, including breakfasts, snacks, lunches and dinners. In addition, we specialise in organising events such as wedding receptions, christenings, communions, confirmations and much more. Our various venues can accommodate up to 260 people at a time, making us one of the preferred locations for a wide variety of events.
In autumn, we turn into a real nest for St Martin's Day, which is particularly festive here. We also provide an unforgettable New Year's Eve dance, where you can look forward to the New Year with music, dancing and great food.
We can't leave out our special offer - the traditional Haloška gibanica, which has been delighting our visitors for decades, and our delicious Sunday lunches, which will brighten up the end of your week.
Every detail is taken care of in our guest house. We offer various forms of service and a wide selection of celebratory menus, including an all-inclusive menu option. Our offer ranges from rich meat dishes, fresh fish specialities to delicious vegan options.
The surroundings of Gostišče ob Ribniku are a real treasure for nature lovers. We are situated in the heart of the scenic Haloze Mountains, which makes us an excellent starting point for hiking events. The Haloze Mountain Trail passes right by us, and the region has recently been enriched by a wine road, which continues to grow and develop.
